Rice salad with grapes and nuts

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 g rice
  • 125 g cooked ham
  • 250 g grapes
  • 150 g celery
  • 50 g walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 150 g mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp condensed milk
  • lemon juice
  • 1 small orange(s), juice
  • 1 ½ tsp curry powder
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes

Cook the rice as usual. Cut the cooked ham into strips, deseed and halve the grapes, grate the celery, and roughly chop the walnuts or hazelnuts. Mix the mayonnaise, canned milk, a little lemon juice, the juice of one orange, and a little sugar, if desired, along with 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of curry powder. Mix with the remaining ingredients and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
