Ingredients

  • 250 g Cooked rice - rest
  • 1 piece Onion, braised, rest
  • 3 piece Mushrooms, rest
  • 1 Can Green peas
  • 1 piece Red peppers
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 150 g Belly meat
  • 500 ml Shish kebab sauce *, rest

Instructions

  • Cut the peppers into quarters, remove the skin and seeds and fry in hot oil. Clean and chop mushrooms.
  • In a large bowl, mix the rice with the braised onion, the chopped mushrooms, the drained peas, the diced meat and the chopped seared paprika.
  • Grease a baking dish and pour in the rice mixture.
  • Cover with the kebab sauce and bake for about 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
  • @ Dieter and Peter: You both are of course absolutely right. Usually I also use frozen peas, but what do you want to do when the bag is almost empty and there is only a can from a previous life hanging around on the shelf, the shelf life of which will soon reach nirvana? So I tried to make the best of it, because nothing is thrown away. In any case, nobody complained and there were no leftovers. 😉
