Rice with paprika and minced meat cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g minced meat
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Herbs, Italian

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Place the rice in a pot with 1.5-2 cups of water, season with salt, and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer until the rice has absorbed all the water. If the rice is still too hard, simply add a little more water. Meanwhile, wash the bell peppers and cut them into strips. Fry them in a pan with a little oil and the ground beef until the beef is brown and the peppers are soft. Add the cream to the pan, season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, if desired, and then bring to a boil briefly. Spoon the rice onto two plates and serve with the bell pepper and ground beef sauce.
