Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 750 g apples
  • 2 packs of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 500 ml white wine (Riesling, dry)
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Mix the flour with the baking powder, add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a dough. Line a greased springform pan with the dough, forming a rim. Wash, peel and chop the apples and cover the cake base with them. Mix the custard powder with a little cold white wine and the sugar until smooth. Bring the remaining white wine to a boil, stir in the mixed custard powder and bring to a boil while stirring. Pour the hot mixture over the apples. Bake the cake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 50 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan. Whip the cream until stiff and spread over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Remove the cake from the pan.
