Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • ½ liter broth
  • 150 g rice
  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Risotto with minced meat

Brown the minced meat and finely chopped onion in hot oil. Then add the rice and brown it. Then add the broth and simmer with the pan covered for about 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the peas and corn and stir. Simmer with the pan covered for another 10 minutes over low heat until the liquid has evaporated. Taste again and adjust seasoning if desired. Serve hot.
