Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) roast beef (beef schnitzel)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp cranberries
  • 1 tube(s) mustard, hot
  • 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
  • some oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. water
  • n. B. Flour for thickening

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Family recipe

Season the meat with salt and pepper on both sides and spread a thick layer of mustard on one side. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels on the mustard side first, then turn and fry on the other side. Transfer the meat to a plate and set aside. Fry the finely chopped onion in the oil. Once translucent, deglaze with water and stir vigorously to loosen the browned meat. Transfer to a large pot and thicken the liquid with flour. Add the meat and cranberries and simmer until the meat is tender. Just before cooking, add the cup of sour cream. Serve hot.
