Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g roast pork
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ cup vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp seasoning = soup stock
  • ½ cup pineapple, sliced ​​with juice
  • 1 tbsp, leveled cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the meat. Peel and roughly dice the onions. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Sauté the onions in a frying pan and add the roast, then cook for about 75 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the vinegar, sugar, tomato ketchup, broth, pineapple juice, and cornstarch. Boil the roasting juices with 1/8 liter of water, strain, add the pineapple mixture, and bring to a boil briefly while stirring. Croquettes or mashed potatoes are best served with this dish.
