Roasted almonds from the Bosch Cookit

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g almonds
  • 160 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Almost like a fair or Christmas market

Insert the 3D mixer into the Bosch Cookit. Gradually weigh all ingredients into the pot. Boil the water for 9 minutes at 130°C on level 5. (The measuring cup should not be inserted during this process.) Immediately afterwards, caramelize the mixture for 15 minutes at 180°C on level 4. (Reinsert the measuring cup for this.) Place the cooked almonds on a piece of baking paper. Caution! Caramelized sugar is very hot. Note: The almonds should not stick together very much when prepared this way. If they do, you can easily separate them with two forks. However, this hasn’t been necessary for me yet. Tip for cleaning the Cookit: Heat 2.5 liters of water with a little dishwashing liquid for 8 minutes at 97°C on level 4. After that, the pot and the 3D mixer will be free of caramel. 887 kcal per serving.
