Roasted Dumplings with Egg
The perfect roasted dumplings with egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Pc. Dumplings
- 2 size Eggs
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 Pc Chopped onion
- Chives, parsley
- Salt and pepper
- The bread dumpling recipe comes from Maitre Mokassa, I only made a small modification to the effect – I didn’t have any pretzels – when I used pretzel sticks instead and sprinkled pumpkin seeds into the dough.
- Let the chopped onions become translucent, cut the dumplings into finger-thick slices and fry well on both sides. Season the eggs with salt and pepper, stir, pour over the dumplings and let either set or remove from the stove while still semi-liquid. Serve sprinkled with fresh chives.

- Bread dumplings are considered a side dish, but can also be processed into a main course as a typical leftover meal with just a few ingredients (eggs, sausages, mushrooms, etc.). So that the dish doesn’t taste too dry, you add green lettuce, quartered tomatoes or pickled gherkins, beer always works.
