Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 potatoes
  • some salt
  • some paprika powder
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Roast potatoes

Take the potatoes, peel them, and cut them in half. Then boil them in salted water for about 10 minutes, depending on their size. Drain the water, season them with paprika and whatever else you like, put the lid on, and shake them well. Then place them on a baking tray that you’ve greased with a little butter. Then put them in the oven and roast them for about 20 to 30 minutes at 200 degrees. I got the recipe from my husband, who’s English and knows it from the usual Sunday roast. It’s something different, tastes delicious, and isn’t too greasy. Shaking them is really important, by the way, so they develop a crust on top.
