Roasted redfish fillet grandma's style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 redfish fillets, approx. 250 g each
  • some lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • Sea salt
  • Flour, instant
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg(s), size M
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Drizzle the fish fillets with lemon juice, let stand for about 30 minutes, pat dry with kitchen paper, and rub with sea salt. Place the flour, breadcrumbs, and beaten eggs on separate plates. Coat the fish fillets first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat butter and oil in a pan and fry the fish fillets for 4-5 minutes per side over medium heat until golden brown.
