Ingredients for 15 servings:

  • Grease for the molds
  • 2,000 g turkey schnitzel
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 600 g cooked ham
  • 3 pts. Rösti (400 g each frozen)
  • 4 cups of cream (200 g each)
  • 6 packs of Italian herbs (frozen)
  • 600 g cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for 2 large casserole dishes

Grease the casserole dishes. Cut the meat into pieces and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dice the cooked ham. Thaw the hash browns and cut each into about three pieces. Season the cream with salt and pepper. Layer everything in the dishes as follows: turkey schnitzel (raw), cooked ham, Gouda, 3 packets of Italian herbs, hash browns, cream, 3 packets of Italian herbs. Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 45-60 minutes. If the hash browns are getting too brown, cover the casserole with aluminum foil. Served with a fresh salad, this makes a wonderful, complete dinner.
