Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 750 g pork neck
  • 2 tbsp vinegar essence
  • 300 ml carbonated mineral water
  • 3 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 55 minutes

Cut the pork neck into even cubes, approximately 4 x 4 cm. Finely slice the onions and mince the garlic. Place everything in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, but preferably 24 hours. Remove the meat from the marinade and thread it onto skewers. Then grill for about 8 minutes at approximately 250°C until browned to your desired degree, either on a Russian shish kebab grill or on a gas grill. Serve with tzatziki, bread, and salad.
