Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 180 g sugar
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 70 g butter
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g sweet cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Combine the flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add the sugar and sifted cocoa powder. Mix in the butter and eggs and knead well. Set aside about 1/4 of the dough and pour the remaining dough into a springform pan. Line the sides well. For the filling, cream the butter until fluffy, then add the quark, cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt and mix well. Then pour into the springform pan. Finally, tear the reserved dough into pieces and spread it over the filling. Bake the cake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about one hour.
