Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g margarine, unhydrogenated / butter
- 200 g cane sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar (Bourbon)
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ bag(s) of baking powder (cream of tartar)
- 6 eggs
- 1 lemon(s), grated peel
- 50 g peanuts, finely chopped
- 80 g walnuts, finely chopped
- 250 g flour, wholemeal rye flour
- Almond(s), sliced

Whisk the ingredients until the walnuts are fluffy, then add the flour and mix well. Pour into a king cake pan lined with baking paper and smooth the surface. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the batter. Bake in a cold oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 70 minutes. Preheat to about 190°C (top and bottom heat) and bake for about 50 minutes. Test with a needle.
