Sage – tomato – sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 15 leaves of sage, fresh
  • 2 tomatoes
  • some flour
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

pasta sauce

Foam the butter in a pan, slice the sage leaves, and add them. Dice the tomatoes and add them. Fry briefly, sprinkle with flour (to thicken), and stir in. Season to taste. I always serve this recipe with gnocchi, but it goes well with any type of pasta—and my children (15 months old) love it best on its own; they absolutely adore it! So, it can also be used as baby food! And if you don’t need a vegetarian option, fried bacon bits work well with it.
