Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 shot of carbonated mineral water
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • chili powder
  • some mustard
  • possibly shallot(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

with sour cream

Pour sour cream into a large salad bowl. Add sparkling water until the desired consistency is reached. Gently season with vegetable broth; it should taste good, but not be too salty. Add pepper, oregano, a little chili powder, and mustard (careful not to overdo it). If you like, you can also chop up fresh scallions. The sauce also tastes great as a dip without sparkling water. It tastes great with iceberg lettuce or lamb’s lettuce. Add tomatoes, and you’re done. This sauce is perfect for a salad with roasted turkey strips!
