Salad with lemon balm dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of lettuce (e.g. iceberg lettuce, endive…)
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey or fruit syrup
  • 200 g sour cream
  • ½ bunch lemon balm, alternatively: 1 tbsp dried lemon balm
  • 1 tbsp peppermint, fresh, alternatively: 1 tsp dried
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and trim the lettuce, and tear or cut into bite-sized strips. Mix the sour cream with the lemon juice and syrup or honey. Finely chop the herbs and mix into the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Toss over the salad as a dressing.
