Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 handful of chives
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g cocktail tomatoes, red and yellow
- 500 g mini mozzarella
- ½ honeydew melon(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
For the dressing, rinse the chives, pat dry, and finely chop. In a bowl, combine with the balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, and oil. For the salad, rinse the tomatoes and dry them. Drain the mozzarella balls in a sieve. Halve the melon, remove the seeds, and scoop out small balls from the flesh using a melon baller. Mix the tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and melon balls with the dressing in the bowl and let stand for at least 20 minutes. Ladle the salad into bowls or cups and serve garnished with skewers. It goes well with barbecues, pan-fried dishes, or even on a buffet.
