Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
- 25 g butter
- 150 g salami (Parmesan and paprika salami)
- ½ onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 40 g pickled gherkins or pickled cucumbers
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 5 large capers
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the curd cheese with the butter (the butter can be preheated for easier mixing) and set aside for now. Finely chop the salami, onion, garlic, pickled gherkins, and capers, preferably in a food processor. Stir this mixture into the curd cheese and butter mixture. Then add the tomato paste and paprika. To make the consistency a little creamier, you can add the cucumber juice or water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. You can, of course, vary the amount of vinegar/pickled gherkins, tomato paste, paprika, and capers to taste. If you like it a little spicy, you can also add pickled peppers/chilies.
