Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp rice flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • e.g. cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Turkish winter drink, warms up and fits perfectly in the cold season

Mix the cornstarch, rice flour, and sugar with a little milk, then add the mixture to the remaining milk and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour the salep into a glass, whip the cream, and drizzle over the hot drink. Finally, sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
