Substitute recipe without orchid roots

Pour the cold milk into a saucepan and add all the other ingredients, except the cinnamon, and bring to a boil. Simmer the mixture until it thickens slightly. Stay with the mixture and stir frequently, as it burns easily. Pour everything into a cup, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy. Alternatively, you can, of course, use low-fat milk, but I like it better this way. This recipe makes a delicious drink that tastes very similar to the Turkish version, but without the typical orchid root ingredient.
