Salted Caramel Liqueur

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g caramel candy(s) (cream caramel, e.g. Muh-Muh, Flecki etc.)
  • 2 packs of condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt, or a little more to taste
  • 300 ml rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

super easy and heavenly delicious

Heat the condensed milk with the caramel candies in a saucepan (do not boil). Add the sugar and salt and stir until the candies have melted. Let it cool before adding the rum. Pour the liqueur into a bottle. Makes approximately 800–1000 ml of liqueur. Tips: You can also make the liqueur with vodka; I personally prefer it with rum. Instead of condensed milk, you can also use cream or milk; cream makes the liqueur thicker, while milk makes it a bit more watery. It’s always a popular gift and perfect for a girls’ night out.
