Salty sunflower seeds

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 50 g sunflower seeds, peeled
  • Salt, other spices to taste
  • 1 handful of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple, quick and healthy snack for your TV evening

Take a pan and set the stove to maximum heat (I use level 12). Add the sunflower seeds to the pan and heat them up. Then add a handful of water, stir gently, and add as much salt as desired. Be careful to sprinkle the salt over the seeds while they’re still slightly moist; this is the only way the salt will stick to them. Continue roasting until some of the seeds crack slightly, smell delicious like popcorn, and turn a little golden brown. You can adapt this recipe to your taste by adding hot paprika or a little rosemary, for example.
