  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 piece(s) ginger
  • 1 stalk of lemongrass
  • 1 pinch of ground cumin
  • 350 ml coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • Salt
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Crush the garlic clove, finely chop the ginger and lemongrass with a knife, and mix everything with coconut milk, sugar, curry powder, cumin, and salt. Soak the wooden skewers in water to prevent them from burning when frying or grilling. Cut the meat into thin strips, arrange them on skewers in a wavy pattern, and marinate for two hours. Fry on both sides in a little oil, or place them on the grill in summer. Serve with various salads and dips, such as peanut dip.
