Ingredients

  • 4 slices Boiled ham
  • 375 g Cooked sauerkraut
  • 20 g Fat
  • 20 g Flour
  • 0,25 L Water
  • 3 tbsp Grated cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 20 g Butter
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Grease a dish and line it with 2 slices of ham. Briefly steam the sauerkraut, season to taste and place on the two ham slices. Cover the sauerkraut with the two remaining slices of ham.
  • Now 20g of fat (I used onion lard) and the 20g of flour are made into a sweat, then a quarter liter of boiling water is poured in and seasoned with salt. Then stir in the 3 tablespoons of cheese and let this sauce cook through briefly.
  • Then take the whole thing off the stove and quickly fold in the egg. Now pour the mixture onto the ham slices. Let it set in the oven for about 20 minutes at medium heat, then put the flakes of butter on top and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Daisies wish you good appetite
