Sausage crostini

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g sausage (raw Italian sausages)
  • 250 g ricotta
  • ½ tsp oregano, dried
  • Salt
  • 12 slices of Ciabatta
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Press the sausage skins out and chop them into small pieces. Mix with the ricotta and oregano, and season with salt. Spread the bread slices thickly with the cream and arrange them on the baking tray. Bake in the hot oven (top, fan oven 180°C) for 6-8 minutes, until the surface begins to turn golden brown. Remove from the oven and grind a little pepper over the top. Serve hot.
