Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g sausage (hunting sausage or ham sausage)
  • 500 g sausage (red pressed sausage)
  • 500 g sausage (white pressed sausage)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 gherkins
  • 3 eggs, hard boiled
  • mayonnaise
  • ketchup
  • Vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

that’s how my grandma made it

Cut the sausage into approximately 1 cm cubes. Chop the eggs and cucumbers. Slice the onions into half rings. Place everything in a bowl. Make a spicy sauce with mayonnaise, ketchup, vinegar, and the spices. Mix everything well and let it marinate in the refrigerator. Serve with warm boiled potatoes or hearty farmhouse bread.
