without mayo, refreshing

Prepare the dressing using ingredients ranging from mustard to Maggi. Peel and coarsely grate the cucumber, cut the cheese into strips, and mix everything together. Place a few lettuce leaves on two plates and top each with a portion of sausage salad. Serve with bread or Brägele (a kind of sausage salad). A few years ago, I happened to buy a sausage salad with cucumber instead of pickled gherkin at a butcher’s. It was so delicious that I’ve been trying to recreate it ever since. This recipe is the result. It tastes very refreshing and different from the usual sausage salad.
