the ground beef layer
- Peel the onion and garlic and dice both finely. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the minced meat together with the onions and garlic until crumbly.
- Season with meat stock concentrate (alternatively grained stock), salt and pepper. Deglaze with a dash of red wine, add the tomatoes cut into eighths and let cool under a lid.
the paprika vegetables
- Divide the peppers, remove the seeds and skins and cut into small cubes. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the pepper cubes in it. Add the tomato paste and the finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and season with chilli, salt and pepper. As soon as the peppers are soft, let the vegetables cool down.
the mushrooms
- Clean the mushrooms, if necessary peel off the skin and cut into slices. Heat some more oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms until golden.
finish
- Drizzle the flatbread with a little olive oil and first spread the paprika vegetables on it, then the mushrooms and finally the minced meat. Sprinkle with finely grated Emmental cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until the cheese has melted and begins to take on color.
- Note 6: Thank you, greeneye1812, you are of course right. I would like to add that the flatbread is cut horizontally BEFORE drizzling it with olive oil. 😉
