Savory puff pastry parcels with feta cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pc. puff pastry
  • 1 point feta cheese
  • 3 olives (green or black, pitted)
  • 150 g diced ham
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ¼ red bell pepper(s), cut into small thin strips
  • some sambal oelek

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Roll out the finished puff pastry and cut it into six equal pieces. Then, using a knife, carefully scrape on the Samba Olek, but be careful not to use too much (Samba Olek is very spicy). Then distribute the remaining diced and chopped ingredients evenly over the dough. Then, individually fold the six pieces of dough into pastry parcels (like a pyramid) and press them together. You can also brush the edges with a little oil or egg yolk beforehand, which will help the pastry hold together better. Place the pastry parcels on baking paper and bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure the puff pastry doesn’t get too dry. Let it cool for another five minutes after baking.
