Savory Swiss roll

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 white bread (tray white bread), fresh
  • some butter, soft, for spreading
  • 150 g salmon ham
  • 1 tbsp horseradish from the jar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Slice a loaf of white bread lengthwise (using toast bread thickness), remove the crust, butter, and top with smoked ham (without the fat). Spread with horseradish. Roll it up lengthwise and wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Let it cool in the refrigerator and then slice it like a Swiss roll. The effect is astonishing – at first glance, you’d think it was a cute little Swiss roll.
