Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g spelt flour
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 250 g quark
  • 200 g butter
  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • 300 ml mineral water
  • 200 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 some chives
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion and grate the carrot. Finely chop the parsley and chives. Mix together the flour, butter, quark, Gouda cheese, eggs, onion, carrot, parsley, chives, paprika, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Finally, add the mineral water. Pour a ladleful at a time into the hot waffle iron and bake. Enjoy with a green salad.
