Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 150 ml water
  • 40 g margarine (semi-skimmed)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (sunflower)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 pack of Italian herbs, frozen
  • 50 g cheese (Edam), 30% fat, grated
  • 2 tbsp coffee cream, 4% fat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Low Fat 30 – Snack for in between meals or as a snack, for 12 pieces

Dough: Mix the flour with the yeast, add the remaining ingredients, and knead thoroughly. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes. Filling: Clean, wash, and dice the vegetables. Heat the oil and sauté the vegetables in it. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs, and let it cool. Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 30 x 20 cm in size. Arrange the vegetables on top and sprinkle with cheese. Roll up the dough sheet from the narrow side and cut into 12 pieces approximately 1.5 cm wide. Place the snails on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, spread with the coffee cream, and let rise for another 20 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 25-30 minutes.
