Turkey and potato skewers with mango yogurt sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 small potatoes
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ mango(s)
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 150 g turkey breast fillet(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the potatoes and boil in salted water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the yogurt with the curry powder. Peel the mango, remove the stone, and dice very finely. Add the diced chives to the yogurt sauce. Wash the chives, pat dry, chop finely, and stir into the sauce. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and chill. Rinse and peel the potatoes. Peel and quarter the onion. Separate the quarters. Wash the turkey breast, pat dry, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Alternate the potatoes, onions, and pieces of meat on two skewers. Season the skewers as desired. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the skewers on all sides for about 10 minutes until browned. Serve the skewers with the yogurt-mango sauce. The skewers can also be roasted on a grill or in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C (convection oven).
