Savoy Cabbage Stew with Smoked Pork

The perfect savoy cabbage stew with smoked pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Celery
  • 1 Parsnip
  • 600 g Carrots
  • 0,5 head Savoy cabbage
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1,75 l Meatsoup
  • 1 kg Released pork chop
  • 2 tbsp Medium hot mustard
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Fresh ginger
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  1. Clean, wash and dice the vegetables.
  2. Clean the cabbage, cut in half, wash and remove the stalk.
  3. Cut the cabbage into pieces.
  4. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes.
  5. Peel and finely dice the onions, ginger and garlic.
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan.
  7. Sauté ginger, onion and garlic cubes in it, add vegetables and potatoes.
  8. Simmer, stirring, for 10 minutes.
  9. Add the cabbage approx. 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  10. Wash the meat, pat dry, dice.
  11. Heat 1 tablespoons of oil in a pan, fry the meat for about 5 minutes while turning, remove.
  12. Deglaze the roasting set with 5 -6 tablespoons of stew stock, then add to the stew with the meat.
  13. Stir the mustard into the stew about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  14. Season the stew with salt and pepper.
  15. Wash the parsley, shake dry, chop finely and pour over the stew.
