a great recipe from a friend

Make a batter from the base ingredients. Spread it onto a 30 x 40 cm baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (fan-assisted) for about 20 minutes on the middle rack. (I don’t think greasing the baking sheet is necessary, as the batter is already rich enough.) Once the base has cooled, whisk together the sour cream, cream, sugar, and creme fraiche powder until smooth and spread over the base. Toast the desiccated coconut, sugar, and butter in a pan until the desired brown color is achieved. Spread this mixture over the cream.
