Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes, cooked
  • 300 g cheese (Gouda or Edam)
  • oil
  • 2 onions
  • 600 g minced meat
  • some broth, granulated (to season the minced meat)
  • chives
  • Parsley
  • marjoram
  • Caraway seeds
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Salt
  • 4 m.-sized tomatoes
  • Margarine, flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Cook the potatoes with the onions and seasonings until fried. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish. Season the mince and spread it over the potatoes (you can, of course, fry the mince briefly until crumbly, but it’s not necessary). Then arrange the sliced ​​tomatoes on top and sprinkle with chives. Top with the sliced ​​cheese and a few flakes of margarine. Bake in the oven at medium heat (180°C) for about 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with a large bowl of fresh salad.
