Scandinavian cream cheese dip

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 50 g processed cheese
  • 1 pack of salad herbs, e.g. B. Salad crowning “Salad herbs”, 10 g
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • some whole milk
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • some salt and pepper
  • n. B. Spice(s) e.g. chili, paprika powder, turmeric
  • 2 tsp paste (caviar paste), if available

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Mix the cream cheese and processed cheese with the olive oil until smooth. Add the salad greens and press the garlic into the mixture. Add the herbs and spices and mix everything together. Stir in the milk until smooth. If you have caviar paste (available from Scandinavian specialty stores or online), use a little less salt and add two teaspoons of the paste to the dip instead. It goes well with bread, especially with fish or grilled meat. It also tastes good with tortilla chips.
