Schnippelchen's bean soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g beans, green
  • 750 g potatoes
  • 200 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ liter beef broth
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 tbsp savory
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the bacon, onion, and garlic and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Add the trimmed and washed green beans and sauté lightly. Season with salt, pepper, savory, and marjoram. Deglaze everything with the broth and add the milk. Bring the soup to a boil and add the peeled and diced potatoes. Simmer until the potatoes are tender and the beans still have a bit of a bite.
