Schnitzel casserole with broccoli and Gorgonzola

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g broccoli, in florets
  • 4 pork schnitzels (150 grams each)
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • 300 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp sauce thickener, light
  • some cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Trim the broccoli, divide it into florets, and cook for about 8 minutes until al dente. Drain well. Pat the schnitzel dry and sear it for 3 minutes on each side, seasoning with salt and pepper. After searing, place it in a casserole dish. Add the cream and milk to the hot pan and bring to a boil. Melt the Gorgonzola while stirring. Add the sauce thickener and bring back to a boil. Add the broccoli to the meat and cover everything with the sauce. Sprinkle with some cheese and bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
