Schnitzel from Oven
The perfect schnitzel from oven recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 piece Pork schnitzel small
- 2 piece Onion
- 250 g Cubes of raw ham
- 500 g Fresh mushrooms
- 10 Discs Chester processed cheese
- 400 g Sour cream
- 400 g H-Cream
- 2 packet Instant hunter’s sauce – if you don’t want to use a ready-made sauce, you can let your creativity run free here;)
- 1 tsp Butter
- Salt, pepper, curry, cayenne pepper
- Some fat for the baking dish
- Rinse the meat with cold water, pat dry and cut in half. Salt and pepper. Peel the onions and cut into small cubes. Clean the mushrooms, remove the stems and cut the heads into thin slices.
- Lightly grease a large baking dish and place the meat in it. In a non-stick frying pan, fry the diced ham, add diced onion and simmer until translucent over medium heat. In the meantime, cover each of the schnitzel with a slice of processed cheese.
- Spread the diced ham and onion on the schnitzel. Heat 1 teaspoon butter in the pan and steam the mushrooms in it. Salt and pepper. Then also pour the mushrooms over the schnitzel.
- Mix the sour cream, cream and sauce powder well. Season well with the spices and then distribute evenly over the schnitzel.
- Cook in a preheated oven (top / bottom heat) at 175 degrees for about 90 minutes.
