Hunters Schnitzel from Oven
The perfect hunters schnitzel from oven recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Pork loin
- 500 g Mushrooms
- 2 Onions
- 2 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 cups Cream
- 0,5 cups Creme fraiche Cheese
- 200 ml Broth
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Nutmeg
- Sugar
- Olive oil
- Cut the pork loin into four equally sized slices and marinate with salt, pepper, thyme and a few drops of olive oil.
- Depending on the size, cut the mushrooms into slices or simply cut in half. Peel the onion and cut into rings.
- Heat some oil in a pan and briefly sear the pork and let it rest in the baking dish.
- In the same pan (so as not to waste the roasted aromas of the meat), braise the onion rings with a little salt, pepper, sugar and butter and then distribute them on the meat.
- Put some more butter in the pan and fry the mushrooms vigorously – as soon as they have lost their water, add flour, paprika powder and sugar and continue frying until everything is nicely browned.
- Season with salt and pepper and deglaze with cream – stir in the creme fraiche and season with nutmeg.
- Pour over the meat and bake in the oven at 180 ° C under / top heat for 20 minutes.
