Schnitzel on Bread with Side Dishes À La Papa
The perfect schnitzel on bread with side dishes à la papa recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Schnitzel approx. 125 g / TK – breaded (here: From Aldi Nord)
- 100 g Mushrooms
- 2 Slices of farmer’s bread
- 2 Onions approx. 200 g
- 1 tsp Flour
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 6 tbsp Peanut oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Small tomato
- 2 Slices of cucumber
- Clean / brush / halve the mushrooms and cut into pieces. Peel the onions, cut into rings, mix with the flour (1 teaspoon) and sweet paprika (1 teaspoon), fry / stir-fry in a pan with peanut oil (2 tbsp) until golden brown and take out again. Fry the mushroom pieces in peanut oil (2 tbsp) until golden brown and remove again. Fry the schnitzel without defrosting in peanut oil (2 tbsp) on both sides until golden-brown and take out again. Fry the eggs in the schnitzel pan. Arrange the schnitzel on bread with onions, mushrooms and fried eggs, season with plenty of pepper and salt, garnish with tomato and cucumber slices and serve
