Schupfnudel and bean pan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g Schupfnudeln, from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 250 g green beans, frozen
  • 125 ml meat broth
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche, approx. 150 g
  • 4 slice(s) of processed cheese, e.g. toast cheese
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Pan-fried dish with beans, ham, potato dumplings and crème fraîche

Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Dice the cooked ham and fry in a pan with a little olive oil. Add the potato dumplings and fry with the ham for 5-8 minutes, until the dumplings turn a golden yellow. Add the green beans. Pour in the meat broth and thicken with crème fraîche, if desired. Season to taste. Finally, place the cheese slices on top and stir until melted. Serve immediately.
