Scones (with My Homemade Raspberry Jam and Butter)

The perfect scones (with my homemade raspberry jam and butter) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • Quarter tsp salt
  • 30 g Extra fine sugar
  • 70 gr Diced butter
  • 1,5 dl Whole milk
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt well.
  2. Dice butter and add, rub with your hands
  3. Add the milk and knead it with your hands to form a dough.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out 12 circles with a glass or a silicone cookie cutter.
  6. Brush with milk and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes,
  7. Let cool slightly on a wire rack.
  8. Serve with butter and jam.
  9. Scones are served in England with cream clotted that is similar to sour cream. Traditionally strawberry jam is served with it.
