Scones (with My Homemade Raspberry Jam and Butter)
The perfect scones (with my homemade raspberry jam and butter) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- Quarter tsp salt
- 30 g Extra fine sugar
- 70 gr Diced butter
- 1,5 dl Whole milk
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt well.
- Dice butter and add, rub with your hands
- Add the milk and knead it with your hands to form a dough.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out 12 circles with a glass or a silicone cookie cutter.
- Brush with milk and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes,
- Let cool slightly on a wire rack.
- Serve with butter and jam.
- Scones are served in England with cream clotted that is similar to sour cream. Traditionally strawberry jam is served with it.
