Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g oat groats
  • 500 ml water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 125 ml milk
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 20 g sesame seeds, roasted
  • 200 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

First, soak the oat groats in about 500 ml of cold water for about 30 minutes. Then, bring to a boil with the soaking water and salt. Let it swell in the pot uncovered over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. Once swelled, stir in the milk and serve hot on warmed plates. Top with sugar, toasted sesame seeds, and whipped cream. 283 kcal per serving.
