Sea bream in the oven

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized fish(s), (sea bream), each approx. 500 g
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 4 sage leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Oven baked

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Scale the sea bream and gut them thoroughly under running water. Distribute the sliced ​​rosemary, sage, bay leaves, chili, and garlic cloves into the abdominal cavities of both fish. Season the outside of the fish generously with salt and pepper. Spread the olive oil in a loaf pan. Place the seasoned sea bream inside and cover with aluminum foil. Place in the oven and bake, covered, for about 15 minutes. Turn over and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve with bread and salad, depending on the season.
