Vegan meat substitute with seitan fix

Mix the dry ingredients together well in a bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl, then mix into the dry ingredients using the handle of a wooden spoon. Knead the dough thoroughly with your hands for about 1-3 minutes. The longer you knead, the firmer the seitan will be. Divide the dough and shape it into one thick roll or two thinner rolls, long enough to fit into the steamer basket. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and twist the ends shut. Steam in the steamer basket for 60 minutes, turning once halfway through. After steaming, remove the foil and let it cool before slicing. Store wrapped in cling film. The chorizo is delicious on its own as a topping on bread, but can also be fried and is also great ground into mince.
