Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g rice (sushi rice or short grain rice)
- 1 tsp salt
- 500 ml water
- 3 tbsp vinegar (rice vinegar)
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Boil rice in salted water and let it swell for 15 minutes. Let it evaporate in an uncovered pot for another 15 minutes. Stir in rice vinegar and sugar. Let the rice cool completely before further processing.
